this summer in Florida has been far too hot for me… next spring I’d like to pick up and spend the season in Ontario… I like muskoka, Haliburton area (who doesn’t?)
anyway… citizenship isn’t an issue, since I’m originally from Canada. my expertise lies in extreme detail. built ins, libraries, coffered ceilings, bars… etc. I’ll come equipped to handle anything… I’ll bring my ‘rolling millshop’.
two months of work will make it worth my while, since I can do some visiting etc. while I am there. anyway… let me know.

Though it isn't those two places but still cottage country try Collingwood Ont. It's right on Georgian Bay and has the Blue Hills ski resort about 5 miles away and it is booming.
The big conglomerate Intrawest bought it a few years ago (they own huge resorts all over North America) . Collingwood is the only place in Southern Ontario that has winter and summer sports in the same town. Georgian Bay is the premium boating spot in Ontario and Blue Hills is the best skiing in Ontario. That isn't saying that much but it's the best in Ontario.
I had some homes there and really enjoyed it but with 30-40 mile an hour winds winter and summer added to that minus 20-30 below and working outside finished it for me. Every liquid substance in my van, including me, were blocks of ice. Threading oil for gas pipe came out like grease almost. Tools buried in snow. Sliding through stop signs, Getting stuck in the van on nothing. Frozen doors and windows. Boots and piles of clothes etc etc etc.
West coast Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh good.

I like Georgian Bay.. actually, if the group of seven painted it, chances are I love it.
Hi Pete, I'm a custom builder in Muskoka - I build high-end cottages and homes, my background is fine furniture... I'm probably starting a fairly nice timberframe in the spring. Always hard to find good workers here - booming. I can't garuantee things yet, no contract signed. Why don't you email me and we can talk some more. [email protected] Hey, where are you in Fl? My FIL has a place near Placida... maybe I could come down there for the winter!
-Damien.
sounds great to me Damien... I'll talk to you some more later, on my way to work.
