Our attorney is a board certified contract attorney and real estate specialist.
He belongs, amongst others, to the Builders and the Remodelers Association and is active there.
I think that many of the builders belong to several related associations, chamber of commerce and any civic groups that they like to help with.
I am not sure it is only for business purpose but also to be with their peers and to help with civic duties. It does help with the business end because they know each other and who is good at what.
That makes life run smoother for all and may keep someone from getting too far out of line, knowing that it will clearly reflect on them, for all to see.:-)
