Andy,
Looking REALLY good. I see you finally got the roof done. Has Katrina been on your tail about the landscaping yet? My DW had me pick up, and hand off-load 10 tons of topsoil and sand for an island in front this past week. Back is still killing me...
You wait.

Andy,
See pics. You shake your head in disbelief as to what I paid. $60. total for 2 loads (7 yards) of screened top quality loam topsoil ($10/yard), $10 for the sand ($3.00/ton).
dirt cheap... LOL ...if you go to the source.
What happened to the pool? Looks more like a tropical lagoon. Everything is looking great. You must be as busy as me bro.
BTW clocking @5.5meg/sec now, them pics open instantly. Wait till you see the ones I post soon. Just ordered a new 8.0 megapixel SLR yesterday, hee hee.

If you use jpg in irfanview and set the size at thereabouts 600x450 at 72 dbi you can get a larger photo on the screen for better viewing than the little ones in the corner.be dead on or that quarter inch is going to haunt you
rez
72 dpi is making the picture bigger than my screen.
Its weird cause I have it under a 100 here on the board and on my screen it looks great but I'm wondering why it shows up tiny and in the corner on yours.
If I set it really low it comes up like that on mine but the way I resized it, it looks good on my PC.
Is it different on everyones puter?
I set this pic slightly higher than 100.

That one is just about right, fillling about 2/56hs of my screen. The earlier dowsizes were smaller than the file size would suggest. I think maybe because they had a lot of colour. number of colours used will make for a larger file size. The winter Tyvek shot displayed fairly larger but it had few colours - but same pixelization and file size.

Of the 10 pics you posted on post 20 the 'rear tyvek' shots, be it 70kb jpg or the 202 kb gif, are great. Both cover 7/8 of the screen.
The other pics of the 80sKB and 50sKB are in the upper left quarter of the screen.
The ones you resized later on in the thread cover a good third with full height.
You know I wasn't complaining. lol Love those 12over12 windows.

Who Dares Wins.
Andy, it's about time..lookin REAL good bro. I am glad to see I am not the only one living in a war zone..LOL
Uh, the guitar..well how do I break it you? The case is worth more than the contents...
No, I'm messin witcha...With case about 4 bills..is the average worth, not a bad instrument at all. Can't tell if has dings or beltbuckle scratches, I am guessin it was hardly ever played?
Just keep wailin on it, the WORST thing is let it just sit idle, the top loses it's resiliancy and gets a dull tone from not being played often.
Great job on the house..looks real pro.

Nice picts. It's what I do, it's what you do...real nice. But my heart is on that pict of the Alvarez guitar. Picked up a great Fender acoustic for my son the other week. What a sweet sound! Almost as full as an old Martin but much easier to play. Think I'll get off this thing and go do some pickin' right now. Thanks.
Is that a Fender Del mar? I've had one for years. Haven't played in a a long time. The wife can't stand my cowboy lullabies and Steve Earle desperate killer with his back to the wall songs. One day I'll pick it up again.Who Dares Wins.

He's one of my top five. Train a comin is a desert island take along album.Who Dares Wins.
Not really sure what model it is. Cost around 4 bills at The Guitar Ctr. I just couldn't believe the sound.
Do pick it up again. I played for years & years then the kids came along with mortgages et al and the guitars collected dust. Now the first one is out of the house and I picked up a new Yamaha acoustic electric cutaway with a little Marshal amp about a year ago (the action is unreal), and started practicing the real way again (scales, arpegios etc). Now it's a habit I don't want to break and I can't believe some of the sounds and licks that are emerging. My wife found my old harp brace last weekend and I started wailing on it with my ax in tow a- la Johnny Lee Hooker last night. My 15 year old came running in and just stood there....he just never knew.
MOM! MOM! Dad is cool after all!Who Dares Wins.
