New beam and concrete footer pads with old foundation and slab details.

So I’ve got some new beams for my project that is changing my roofline and adding a real floor to my attic.  To do this, I need to pour some new footings for new support posts.

I need to know if I have the details on this correct, or if I need to change anything:

Here are the beams that will sit on top of the posts.  My other question has to do with the red beam… how do I connect that with the existing framing – just strap connectors?  To where?
