anyone commercial builders that run behind and have to deal with people like me? I sell/install office furniture. alot of projects on new construction jobs run late. Unfortunately we have to order a couple months in advance based on PM’s best guesses as to completion.
My current project is going “well”, except for the fact that that the elevators are unavailable for use due to the building not being fully inspected yet.
the attatched pic is how you never want to have to load furniture into a building.
P.S. incredibly beautiful building, with amazing view. will post more pics later.

building ready for furniture? no. if so I'd have a staging area, everyone, or nearly everyone else would be gone, and the building would be signed off and I'd have elevators! the building owners are ready for furniture, I'm not sure the PM is ready for us.
the buildings gorgeous. the shrink wrap is due to the painters putting sikkens on all the wood under the eaves. you can see their jig lift in the pic. those poor guys have been coming down every day coated with the stuff. on the plus side, they have completely weatherproof jakets now. :) the wrap was coming off today.
I'llget some more pics soon. it truly is just a beautiful building in a great site with great views. I'm just trying to get my job done while staying out of the way,and not stepping on alot of toes, and hanging out a third story window:)
thanks...

Indeed that is a beautiful building.Assume it is for the Tulalip Nation? What is the building's function? At least the tribes have money to spend.I stayed busy at the Squaxin reservation for 2 years- houses and duplexes, event center, tobacco factory. From there went to Muckelshoot res. for housing.Gambling does bode well for the tribes.

their new admin building. They're currently spread out in lots of different buildings, portables, etc. bringing everyone together will be a good improvement for them.
the Tulalips have diversified themselves fairly well. They've started their own cable and data center and wired the whole res for high speed. opened a big shopping area and an outlet mall. The Casinos are probably the biggest help though.
that's nice...
thanks...
