I live in a house with no duct work, have radiant heat and will keep it that way. Someday I’ll put dormers on the 2nd floor and will do some kind of system up there. But for now, I put two 1 ton units in my kitchen and living room and already had a 3/4 ton unit in my office, which is the small addition.
Had electrcians install the conduit, I did the rest myself. Actually upgraded my service to 200 amp when I did it because I did not have two extra circuits.
Getting the refrigerant lines hooked up tomorrow and I’ll be in business!
Kitchen unit:
Two new units outside, still have to hook up the refrigerant lines…
If you are curious why the siding is not painted, the room between the kitchen and living room is my bathroom, here is the thread on it…..

Paul,
Looks good. How did you fabricate the radiator covers? I followed your paint and bath thread. Great stuff. Did you refinish the floors and if so, what finish? Are the doors in the garage yet?

Chuck-
I have a thread on my living room from start to finish and it includes the large radiator cover. It was A LOT of work, never made anything like it before. I actually built the smaller one first, then did another project for almost a year, then built and finshed the second one which is like a piece of furniture.
The guy before me had a 1x for the window sill, so I took it out and used that to land the cover, and then just extended the sill as the top of the cover.
Here's the thread:

And the door is installed, I started a new thread on it, here it is:
