I’m not sure if Porter Cable has been purchased by Samsonite, but I just saw a new compressor which looks like a rework of their existing oilless twin tank 6 gallon model. It seems to have taken a page from the Emglo/DeWalt book where the entire compressor and single tank are wrapped within a cage and can be carried almost like a suitcase. Here’s the Samsonite bit: They put two 5-6″ wheels on it and it has a collapsable handle that pulls out like a carry on suitcase that you see people pulling behind them at airports. It’s a bit funny looking, and I can’t say how well the handle is going to hold up, but it seems like a really clever idea.
I look at this little rig and keep thinking that there’s got to be some sort of Norm Abram dashing through the airport ad in the works (a’la OJ in his Hertz commercial days before he dedicated his life to searching golf courses everywhere for the real killers.) That might be a bit of a stretch, but even so, it seems like it might be a good choice if you’ve got to travel a bit far from the truck.

Not only is portable feature of it nice , but you can quick disconnect the regulator from the compressor and run one hose from the compressor to the actual work site and then run two smaller hoses off the regulator to minimize trip hazards.
I also noticed the CFM ratings are higher than the Dewalt. Plus the price is lower as well. I don't own one but i've been seriously looking at buying one. I noticed that Devilbliss had stamed there name on the bottom as well.
DeVilbiss is owned by Pentair who also owns Delta and Porter Cable. All the PC compressors and I suspect most of the air tools (probably not the nailers) are all manufactured by Devilbiss and marketed under the PC moniker. I used to have a little 3 gal hotdog compressor made by Devilbiss. It was a nice little compressor. Loud, but very light and portable. Devilbiss also has made some of the compressors for Sears so you can never tell when you have a Devilbiss in other's clothing.
