My Senco distributor saw one of these new cordless guns. Apparently it is all electric. He described it as winding up then giving a punch, then winding up again. He was not inpressed. In fact he thought it might actually hurt the Senco name. I am a long time fan and user of Senco pneumatic finish nailers. I do trust this guys opinion. Maybe they went back to the drawing board.

*maybe they are having it made by the same guy who makes there self-feed screw gun!! oops!
*As long as it isn't designed by the same guy that designed the BAMMER!
*I have been thinking of getting a bammer. can buy for quite a bit less than the paslodes and for occasional use I thought it might do.What dont you like about it? Ive never used or seen used either. Also have thought of getting a compressor and then a 2" 18 guage and a 2 1/2 inch 15 guage gun. Just have been avoiding a noisy tool around if can be helped (plus one that is a pain to move around). My use is around the house (in the process of remodeling) and in the shop. No real comercial application. What would your reccommendations be?
*Don't get the bammer! I have one and its a major work out to use. uses a lot of gas. often misfires and does not sink the nail. Get a small compressor and nail gun. My 2 gal. unit came from Walmart for $100 and if you take your time works great.(only weights 30lbs) For fast work and framing i use a high output PC compressor (weights 80lbs).
*Nigel,Took your advice. Stopped by Home Depot and checked the reconditioned tool table and found a Porter Cable pancake compressor kit with 16 guage finish nailer. The units are spotless and dont even have a scratch. Talked to the guy there and got the kit, a well used Bostick 2" 18 guage nailer and an extra set of 18 guage galvanized brads for $250. That was everything I thoght I might need at a great price!Works great!
