Here is a project whre I took out an old 3’0″ door, storm and all and two double hung windows set on a built up framed wall. Installed a 5’0″ french door and 2-18″ side lights — opens this whole side of the house and invites you outside — fooled around with my shaper and did the interior paneling on the shaper, pilaster capitals came from chadsworth — all the best — Dudley

keep your pics under 100 kb so the dial-ups can see them tooMike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
Thanks Mike you are always on target -- I liked your suggestion to the guy that wanted to beef up his insulation -- run 2x6 perpendicular and then fill -- will really seal thing up and hold the heat in duing the winter and out during the summer - Dudley
