We have 35 year old aluminum window frames. We had vinyl retrofit windows installed but ended up losing 4 inches of viewing area on each side of the window!
We want to go back to using the old window frames. We don’t want to install new frames since this would require breaking into the exterior stucco, and we are 5 floors up, expensive!
So we are looking for a way to get new aluminum window panels that will fit into the old frames. Any ideas?

To prevent moisture buildup and improve performance, install a continuous air barrier—such as drywall or specialized membranes—under tongue-and-groove boards or other interior wall paneling.
