This year I intend to;
1. Market our design/build program more heavily.
2. Make the move to becoming a corporation.
3. Diversify to having a full time paint crew.
4. Possibly add a full time framing crew.
5. If all goes well, this is also the year I may finally get to start investing some money into the stock market for my retirement.
*Look for the more interesting projects. The ones not every Tom, Dick and Harry can do. Use what I've learned over the years. Not put so much effort into grunt jobs. Work smarter and less hard. Charge more for knowledge which is why I'll leave the more simple projects to the moonlighters and the new comers.
*This year my oldest son starts high school. High school tuition will be 2 1/2 times his grade school tuition.Next year my second son will start high school with a proportional rise in tuition.My goal is the same as it has been for 9 years----to meet my tuition responsibilities.
*Finish my house and retire early. Can you retire at 33?Probably not as I can't see Mrs. Rimoldi letting me get away with it. ;)Mike
*This year, for my Carpentry Business:I WILL provide the guys out there with all the support that they need to succeed on their own without me there and to deliver a hefty portion of any profit they generate.For my Rent-to-Own real estate business:I will ATTEMPT TO provide every disadvantaged family, especially those with kids, a nice house, with as low of payments as I can possibly deliver.For my Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. Independent Associate business:I will inform every one of my friends and relatives (and their friends and relatives) of the opportunity that they have: to purchase peace of mind for less than a cup of coffee each day. I would feel guilty if I leave someone out and don't present this very sensible legal insurance plan. Happy New Year!
