well…to pick up from the old board…the object here was Design/ Build this existing house, which looks like three fishing camps or out buildings pushed together… into a new home by adding 2 bedrooms, a bath & an enclosed porch
here’s a view across the deck to the section we’ll be adding on to..

to backfill under the house, we built a chute and dumped the sandy gravel ... then pulled it laterally behind the wall

hmmm - that puckered face sure looks familiar - wait - it's Cadioli in disguise, right?
Hey, umm, Mikey/Markyy - you call those wood shims shoring? ;-)Woe to the cook whose sauce has no sting- Chaucer
Bob.... the pre-cast steps, the Bilco Door & the installation goes for $825 plus tax.. others quoted $900... but they've been about that price for 10 years or so..
so.. with our lack of specialization.. we have trouble just buying and installing the bilco for that
Wolvie... those are 2x6 boxes nailed up round-robin.. and the screw-jack weighs about 60 lb.
that's residential shoring ..not the big stuff you're working with
BTW.. that post last night had both my email address in it.. but it got deleted..
i'll try it again..
couldn't find your email addy on this machine since the big cox conversion..
here at the office it's mfsmith1ATcox.net & home it's xmfsmithATcox.net
apparently if i post my email addressin a normal fashion, it gets deleted by some editing process
the office one is working fine the one at home i get some messages but nothing goes out
