This is one of three possibilities for my next project. First one to sign a contract and pay $$ gets on the schedule!
Basically, this simple but well-cared-for house would get bigger kitchen + carport, huge gabled porch, new master bath & closet addition on the far end, various other updates and goodies, and renovate a small rental house behind. Lived in again by the daughter of the folks that built it when she was a kid in the early ’50s – never left the family.
Unbelieveably, it’s closer to me than the “Attic Recovery” job (they’re next door neighbors). Maybe 250′ from my front door.
Benches on city ROW face our historic “Old Church” Civil War hospital and all that.

Monster House is certainly in the works - just the design phase right now. Client is finally seeing financial realities, which is my job at this point. I think they are exploring some additional "family" financing.
Having to decide how bad they really want all the cool gee gaws and gimcracks.
Designs continue, but the kiddies gotta' eat!
Hope to post some model pix soon

Darn! I opened this hoping we'd get to vote on which project you'd do next!
Hey! Thanks for watching!

That addition looks like a good project. Is the phase 2 Master Suite still on at 'Attic Recovery'? When is the last time you actually had to drive to a job over 10 miles? It must be sweet not having to figure travel expense in a quote.Chuck Slive, work, build, ...better with wood
The rest of Attic Recovery is one of my three a-waiting. It'll come down to whomever pulls the trigger first.
The third project is a breakfast room / porch / laundry room addition on the back of the Cool Classical Portico House.

EDIT - 'course, Portico house is nearly four miles away - have to be a mileage surcharge and travel time built in
