No 0.148″ Nails for Framing Shear Wall with Makita AN924 Gun…8d 0.12″ or 0.131″

My shear wall specs call for 0.148″ 10d nail. My Makita AN924 requires 21-degree nails. I can’t find nails for this gun. 

Plan B – Use 8d nail and reduce nail spacing from 4″ to 3″.  The BOC shows this would slightly increase the pounds per foot for 15/32 plywood panels.  However, I don’t see where the diameter of 8d is specified….  0.12 or 0.135″. 

Any suggestions?  New nail gun!?

    Update: Found 0.148 @ 21 degrees at Lowes. Success
