I’d like to remove nicotine stains in a tiled kitchen backsplash grout. The grout was probably light beige or bisque when new, as the tiles are that color. Other than staining the grout, anyone have an idea other than grinding and starting over? TSP doesn’t work, nor bleach. We all want a miracle, so I’m asking for one. Thanks.

Last things to try is Lysol toilet bowl cleaner or paint stripper. With paint stripper, cover it with saran wrap, it keeps the stuff from evaporating away.
Otherwise you are out of luck.
Thanks to you all. I think I'l get a grout grinder, stay sober that day, and just grind it out. Thanks again.
I've tried everything from acetone to toothpaste to no avail. I think the stuff just soaks into the porous surface and becomes one with the grout. I have the same problem in my bathroom - about 130 sq ft of tile. I'm going to take the multimaster to it and just regrout.

Disclaimer before I start! This suggestion is hazardous as HECK. I take no responsibility if you kill yourself.
Try some VERY DILUTE Hydrochloric Acid. Buy it at the Home of the Pot. It will etch off the top surface of the grout & if the stuff hasn't penetrated, will take it off. If you are insane enough to try this (or desperate) Go on line & read about how to dilute acids. I can never recall which you pour into which. Dilution of acids results in a lot of heat being generated & potential violent expulsion of liquid out of the container.
Lemon juice might do as well, as might CLR tile & grout cleaner for showers. Try some Bar Keepers Friend (Or whatever). It's a cleanser w/ oxolyic acid in it. You are looking for an acid to etch the top off. Go to the HCl last. Use LOTS of ventilation - Cl gas will kill you, & it's released by the chemical reaction of etching.
Good luck.
