I’m looking for a product that is non-insulating, not plywood, OSB or wood for exterior wall sheathing. It can be nailed or stapled to the studs and acts as a shear to racking. The stud walls would be squared and braced with let-in steel wind bracing before it is applied.

I don't understand the Non-insulated part. Why would that be a pre-requisite?
Your post sounds like a riddle, just fill me in please.
*Sheet metal.
*perhaps Hardies " Hardiebrace " is what you seek?? I don't think it's available in the states, ( check Hardies web site ) but we use it a lot here. Termites hate it and you don't need to cut in metal bracing as you can achieve 4 kn/mtr ( don't ask me what that is in imperial ) bracing strength.

Maybe the product Mark described is what I'm looking for. Maybe I should have said non-foam, instead of non-insulating. This product once it is applied can be stood on between the studs. And as far as I know it's not metal. This product hopefully is a cheaper alternative to plywood or OSB, and is used for a backer for vinyl siding and interior sprayed foam.

Perhaps you are thinking of Simpson's new prefabricated shear wall.
