Nice looking $hed. 'Course anything you want to look nice and last is going to involve some $.
Where's the overhead door so you can fit the big stuff in?
Cheers-
thanks, client just wanted the door big enough for his lawn mower,-
presure washer ,kids bikes ect....
What's with all the horizontal blocking in the shed walls? Just trying to learn something here...
It's 1x4 strapping notched into 2x4 studs...
then the ranch wall can be nailed inside the groves which
are spaced on 8'' centers...
Very clean and simple,, I like it. How did you deal with ventilation issues,(those pesky garden and hot tub chemicals)? I'm also interested in how you dealt with interior storage of your garden and other stuff. I'm saving my organization efforts till this fall so the interior at the moment is a little chaotic.
bug screen on the ridge and hips(back side ,nieghbor asked for it)...
foam closure strips under the metal roof...
the inside is sheathed in 3/4 ply(clients parents had it sitting in their-
basement for last 2 decades or longer) with a small work bench...
but to organize the storage...thats up to the client:)
Oh ya...vented at the soffit also
