Is that a bloack poly plastic band I see all around the house just below the Tyveked walls but above the foundation? What is it's purpose?
guessing it has something to do with weeps and masonry facade
Welcome to the Taunton University of Knowledge FHB Campus at Breaktime. where ... Excellence is its own reward!
Nice little place for a couple and two kids!
The invasion of the McMansions continues.................

Correct Piffin,
all that black poly is actually rubber...windows,doors,where ever it's a brick/stone veneer. Its code. What no snickering about the UFO looking porch?
We tore the first one off...the circle was half as tall as the one shown. H.O. did'nt like it. Got a pic of the oudoor gas fireplace around back, I'll try and post it later. That lot you see, went for $370,000some.
Nice place!
I never get to see this part of the job any more and its always nice to see a house going up.
Doug
I sympathize with you. I thought that I was the only one cursed to spend eternity in the land of barrel vaults and kicked tail roofs. Excellent work on your vault fill ins!
Man, I thought we agreed not to post my house on the net!
LOL, sorry, kidding. Looks like a few that are going up this way, without the porch. Any other siding other than brick? (Here they may brick up the front and wrap the rest in vinyl. Nothing but class for our McMansions. But not a lot have brick for some reason. Mainly cookie-cutter vinyl.)
That looks like a money maker FramerT!
Nice looking job.
How many hours?
How many sf?
blue
Blue, it was around 7,000ft....basement[not shown] is huge too.
Boss took the job 'per/hour', for good reason.
Boss and owner-builder go back alot years and this is his personal house. We were there a couple months,if that gives ya any idea.He had the architech out to the job at least a half dozen times.
FramerT,What city is that in?

Framer T Nice job. Any neihbors. I miss the fresh air, the quiet. That still moment between circ saw screaming compressor rattlin' air hose leakin is always interupted by a G*d damned siren here.
