I am a big fan of all leather framing rigs. I have worn out 1, had one stoled and now have an occidental leather rig set the way I like it, but there are a few tweaks I would make. Now Occidental has a new framing rig out there in limited edition, does anyone have one and what do you think? Have you tried their belt liners?

Wish I could help you out. I have a set of Oxy Lites (greenies) that are about a year past shoulda been replaced. I have been doing serious looks at a new leather rig, but don't frame enough anymore to warrant the pricey tag. I may resort to getting an interim set of cheapers. I hope you have some good responses.
BTW, which rig are you referring to in limited edition? I have Occidental on my favorites, I love to browse!

I have the seven bag framer set now, and am looking at this set:5530 - Stronghold¯ Big Oxy™ Set http://www.bestbelt.com/product/toolbelts/5530-toolbelt.html
I just bought a set of the "big oxy's" and love them. I am currently wearing them on a harness, but will have to go with suspenders if on a belt. they are heavy and hold a large quantity of tools and fasteners.
I recently had to redo my personal tool / fastener setup (major stiching blowout)and decided to try a beltless package...went with the Oxy tool chest. Wow! I'm now a convert and will never go back. Well thought out placements and sizing of pockets and oh so comfortable! I love not having a tightly fastened belt on when it's hot. The extra shoulder weight may take a bit getting used to for some, but as a climber / backpacker it feels right at home for me. And I love the removable side bags. When I'm doing trim carpentry, the bags come off and all I wear is the vest. I added a monster hook right next to the front hammer holster for hangin' guns and drills and I'll wear this thing until it's toast and then buy another just like it.
Currently running three Oxy rigs. My old leather ones have gone north to WA, leaving the Oxy Lights and the Stronghold adjustable framers down in CA. All are set up for the Oxy suspenders, which travel from rig to rig, including drywall and electrical. Certainly recommend the suspenders. Hard to go wrong with the classic Oxy Lights. Certainly can customize them.
Personally prefer cordura to leather. Some like leather over cordura. Like the Stronghold adjustables. Like having the double tool bags. Chalk in one, notebook in the other.
The signature bags shown are a bit different. Normally the tape is on the hammer side. Here it's on the fastener bag.
The tool shields are new to me. Will have to try a few. Oxy really need a few sleeves on the outside of the hammer-side bags for pliers, 4 in 1 screwdrivers, etc. I use that heavy plastic used for packaging to make inserts for chisels and other tools to line the sleeves.
