Last I had to look for one it was at least $600 as I remember. Gotta love old houses.

American Standard has a 54" tub- the Mackenzie. They even have 46 1/2 " tub - the Huron. They are just plain enameled steel tubs. I bought 2 of the Hurons from Home Depot, special order, for less than $200. Took a couple of weeks to get them.
wish that info was there 2 yrs ago.live and learn.learn not to quote a bath remod before checking the tub length. at least I learnt.

I've bought a drop in 4' tub before. Make the deck 4'6" and you're golden.
I think it was called a Roman Soaker Tub, bought it at a real supply house, not a big box.
