What are the negatives if a keyway in a concrete footing is off center of the foundation wall being formed above it?
The keyway will still be covered with the concrete foundation wall above, and the structure being built has no basement, but is slab on grade.

PS: Seriously, nothing to worry about. It's what the footing sits ON is the usual worry. Of course if your bearing is poor, in about 400 years you'll have a heck of a tourist trade going!!
