Okay to use these screws in joist hangers?
Just wondering if it’s okay to use these exterior screws in my joist hangers (see photos), or if I need to remove them and use nails instead. This is in a basement. Thanks!

No. Both Simpson and Mitek make screws for joist hangers. Regular construction screws won't meet code.
And Simpson, in their catalog, will tell you exactly which screw to use and where
they also make nails specific to joist hanger use
