Here are some 180 year old german doors that i had to install for windows in a home office for a guy that made 66 million selling off his car dealerships on the stock market. This little office cost about 200.00 a foot, not counting the cost of the antique doors, the owner wouldn’t cop to what his wife paid for them at auction.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

here are the storm doors i had to make to cover them with, they were in such bad shape, they wouldn't keep any weather out, or small critters for that matter.
Looks nice......gee it must be nice to have a spare $66M burning a giant hole in the pocket. Hopefully he is happy with the job so you can build his multitude of necessary 2500 square ft "guest houses" that inevitably will wind up on the property..lol.
Looks great.

Wow is right. I envy my sister. She sees even older stuff than this in Germany(she's in charge of permits and such for renovations/restorations in Erfurt..formerly East Germany). On one of my visits, she showed me a renovation that found wooden beams and stenciled writing from the 1500s.Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good w/ketchup.
Sure wouldn't mind seeing some pics of those beams!:o)http://cdn1.ustream.tv/swf/4/viewer.45.swf?cid=317016
