No, not an old GTO as in Pontiac but GDO as in Garage Door Opener. I recently replaced one for my neighbor and it has to be from the late 60s early 70s based on its all steel design and really bizarre appearance. It almost looks homemade but has a decal from some company in Michigan I believe.
Anyway, if any of you folks collect such things, it can be yours for the cost of shipping and handling…which by the way would require some creative packing as the entire guide is two pieces of angle steel about 8′ long.
Anyone local to the Tampa area is free to come and get it…Just email me. If not, I guess it goes to the dump?
