I need some help finding a goldblatt taping knife.Last summer I was working with this guy who had an old goldblatt it had a hard golden colored handle and the blade was held on by two wing nuts.so i fuigure the blades are enterchangable.I offered him 30 bucks and a brand new handsaw and he still wouldent take it.(nor do i blame him that taping knife is priceless) I wont buy the newer goldblatts (pure crap) and once again stanley has managed to ruin a once grand company who produced tools of remarkable quality and value.hyde is crap,marshall town is crap,goodell makes great taping knives for chase pitkins but there regular line is (dramatic pause) crap.I have checked the net,tool stores,ect and cant find any.does anyone know where i can find one of these tools?It would make this poor drywaller really happy. Thank you.

Gotta disagree with you opinion of marshalltown. Oh well, that would go nowhere anyway. Try Cleform.com for some good and hard to find tools.

Hadn't been to the site in a long time. Can't tell if those knives have interchangeable blades or not. Call em. Some great darby's here also. Something too many drywallers forgot about a long time ago IMNSHO.

Thanks but no luck at cleform.And i dont mean to crap on other tools but goldblatt always was one of the best and now their tools have no quality to them at all.so i'm stuck trying to pry old goldblatt tools away from their happy owners.and whats with the cheesy plastic handled flimsy blades on the market today?My grandfather's turning in his grave.Maby the knife will show up on ebay someday.Got my drywall stilts from ebay.goldblatts (of course) good shape and only 100$ what a happy day that was.thanks again
