Hi all –
My kitchen sink is an old black rectangular soapstone, about 2′ X 4′ X 6″ deep. It consists of a base plate w/the four sides bolted on.
Every couple of years I caulk the inside joints using silicone II or something like that. Then after a while it starts deteriorating and leaking and I have to do it again.
There must be some better way to do this, maybe some kind of grout or epoxy filler or something. Any suggestions? BTW, I wouldn’t want to try taking it apart and putting it back together. I’m afraid of opening the worm can.
Thanks…….ED
