Hi,
Other than Lee Valley Tools, does anyone know of a decent mail-order or online store of cabinet hardware in Canada ?
I’m finding lots in the US but sometimes the shipping rates are not worth it.
Thanks

Thanks but they mainly sell to the trades like you mention. As such I need to apply for an account and get a credit check before i can do anything.
I know you said online, but give Preston Hardware a try, if they don't have it in stock, they'll get it!
I've started using Preston Hardware a few months ago, and you're right, if they don't have it, they'll get it. Unfortunately, the current item I need is half price when ordered from the states (maybe 25% off after S&H) and I'll get it next week as opposed to 4-6 weeks from Preston HW. I still try to use them as much as possible though but i'm in a rush for this item. When I purchase stuff, I try to use the local businesses (Ottawa, ON) first, national ones (Canada) second, and North-American third, even if it's more expensive to buy it here. Also, shipping from the states is a PITA. Not all of the online retailers use the USPS. If they only go with UPS or FedEx, these courriers typically charge an unreasonable brokerage fee whereas the USPS does not. The brokerage fee is to verify if there are any duties to pay and most of the time, there are none.
