I just had open cell insulation installed in the walls and ceiling of a new addition. Can I install 1/2 rigid insulation board with the foil face before installing the drywall? I wanted to eliminate the thermal bridging at the joist/stud locations, but I don’t want to create any issues with trapping moisture.
