Open valley flashing and other aspects of roofing

Hello, I am looking for tips on flashing an open valley. I plan to use ice and water shield centred in the valley with metal flashing on top. My big question is what is the best way to lap the membrane and flashing. Also any tips on further aspects of roofing such as installing drip edge, underlay and shingles would be greatly appreciated!
