Hi all —
I’m looking at installing prestained cedar shingles and am thinking of getting a nail gun. Originally I was looking at the Bostitch N64C ($325) or the Hitachi NV65AH ($350) but recently I found the PorterCable Coil200 for $125 (new, but dicontinued). Has anyone had any good/bad experiances with this gun? I plan on using 1.75″ 304SS RingShank nails from www.stainless-nails-brads-staples.com.
Thanks for any info….

I've had one for a year or so and done a few cedar siding projects. No complaints, a very reliable gun with few jams. It's also fairly light which is nice when doing siding. I used 1-3/4 galv ring shank on my last project. Hand dipped 7 sq. Here's a picture...
