Outswinging single glazed metal casement

Does anyone have a great solution for storms and screens or an insulated sash for outswinging single glazed metal casements? My clients love the look of their diamond grid windows in their historic, 75 year old stone house, but the MN cold leaves them less than comfortable. An old version of interior storm windows fixed in place does not accommodate ventilation in spring and fall. Please email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

The classic European approach is two permanent sets of sash in each jamb, one outswing, the other inswing. I saw that all over the place in Russia and Scandinavia, and even as far South as Vienna. It seems to work fine for the palace of the King of Norway, and for the national hotel in Moscow.
