This is another paint question. How to remove old paint from an interior brick chimney (in the corner of a room) without damaging the brick, or the floor for that matter?

The most successful way I've ever seen to remove paint from brick was to cover all the surrounding surfaces and sand blast the area. It gets dusty and dirty but it sure beats all of those chemicles. It is also much quicker. You can pick up a sandblaster at Sears for something like $100 but make sure you get a sandblasting face shield. Hope I've helped.
