Do a Google search on Nansulate Scam.
Sounds like snake oil to me. It appears to be a pink sheet (penny) stock selling for about 10 cents. And, there are a lont of astroturfers spreading the gospel, and if you compare bulletin boards, you will find the same identical words being used to praise the product, albeit with different poster names.
Finally, it fails the TGTBT test.
Cheers... I'll stay a skeptic. My only thought was that with a claimed 20-40% reduction in energy bills, perhaps the 'paint' is acting like a air/vapour barrier, sealing all the little cracks in home and thereby reducing air leakage and heat loss. My next question was going to be - if that is indeed how it is working - does it cause new moisture related problems that have to then be dealt with. But no matter - if it's a bogus product, I'll find something else to think about... Thanks again.
I think the positive reports of savings all come from southern states where the bufer against radiant heat gain being absorbed into the structure is a factor. I doubt that would matter to you up north
