Is it ok to paint CPVC (white) in an exterior application or any application at all?
This is concerning the outdoor shower post earlier….just couldn’t get an answer for this part of the question. And it will definitely be drained in the winter so hopefully that exterior part doesn’t catch anyone up. I just mentioned it more in terms of UV ray issues or something along those lines.
Thanks

PVC holds paint quite well. I would lightly sand it first to "de-gloss" it and use a primer, but I've just slapped paint on without that much prep and it held up pretty good.
On the other hand, why paint it white? Isn't it already white?
He was going for CPVC that is yellow but you are right. Paint holds just fine. I know people who paint their PVC as a U/V protector. Just "heat it up" with lacquer thinner to get the glaze off.
