Hi,
I recently saw a show on HGTV where they renovated a kitchen and painted some of the tiles with what they called “Tile Paint”
I have called around to hardware stores, paint stores, tile stores, and nobody has heard of it or knows what I’m talking about
Can anyone help me???
Thanks
Jolie

there is such a thing, i know of people who have used it and are happy with the results; but i don't know for how long.
possibly the stores you called just don't carry it because they don
't have confidence in it. i'll try to dig up some specific info about it-

cocensus of several discussions on painting onto glazed tile or polished stone seems to be that whatever you do, prime firt with xim, and don't expect it to last forever.
There is a 2 part epoxy paint that's made to apply to bathtubs, sinks and tile. Various brands, also available in the big box stores. Have used them a couple times on bathtubs. mickey mouse solution for a tub/sink, will be OK for a while, but any rough use, or anything less than 100% perfect preparation (or even with perfect prep) and it starts peeling.
OTOH, if the tile is vertical (as opposed to counter top)and doesn't get much wear,or doesn't get wet, it would last longer.
