I am replacing my facia, soffit, and gutters on the front of my house. The soffit is completely primed but painted only on the exterior. Would it be wise to paint the inside as well or will I be wasting my time, money, and paint? Thanks.

The small extra cost of back priming wood soffit panels is always worth it IMO. It is not done very often in residential work, but is speced quite often in commercial work. For my money, it is cheap insurance that helps control unequal moisture problems that could occurr in the future. I would back prime and prime the edges of the soffit panels just as I would for wooden lap siding.

Dave,
Thanks for the good advice. The edges are already done and yes, you're correct. It would be cheap insurance and good peace of mind.
