I’m doing a rehab on an old house with a three season porch. Porch has Windows and doors but no heat. The interior and exterior is all stucco. I know it’s not advisable to paint exterior stucco, but when it’s an interior wall can it be painted? any suggested prep and paint type?

Stucco can be painted. Exterior stucco is painted all the time. I don't like the look of painted stucco myself, but thats just my opinion. My suggestion is latex paint, sprayed. Prep? - clean it real good, and let it dry thoroughly before painting.

There are gazillions square feet of painted stucco here in Florida. Pressure clean(exterior) then prime with a good masonry primer and follow with a good exterior top coat.
