I am doing a kitchen renovation and have installed a Paperstone countertop in the Evergreen colour. After cleaning it well, I coated it with mineral oil. However, I found I got a green residue on a cloth after it had dried. I then thoroughly cleaned it and applied the Paperstone Finish they recommend. Still got the green colour. I then did the same to a test piece with two coats of the wax with no change. I’m now considering the “Good Stuff” gel polyurethane coat they say should work. Since I will have to remove the wax, I would like to hear from anybody who has also had this problem and how they dealt with it (hopefully without a high gloss finish). Dave Salt Spring Island Canada
