Check the date on the fuel cell. I've had trouble with expired cells even if they were newly installed.
If the fan runs when the tip is depressed, it can't be a battery issue.
Was it an expired cell?
Here is a way to test fuel beyond looking at the date -
Take it out of the gun, and press the injector nozzle against the corner of a stud, or other bare wood. You will see the damp spritz of fuel.
Almost any fuel cell will show you this on the first shot a bit.
But if you do it 5-6 times in rapid sequence, a full cell will continue to spritz damp spot each time, while a weak or nearly empty one will only make a noise but not any damp spot.
If you are definitely fine on both spark and fuel, time to call their tech help #. They are pretty good. I know from previous that there are some combos of LED light flashes etc that can tell them something diagnostically, so have the gun with you and ready when you call.
