I just bought a Paslode impulse nailer, sure beats dragging a hose around.
Do any of you who own them know if the fuel cell will bleed down if you don’t use them for a week or so?
thanks, Darren.

Construct the intersecting gable on the main roof for a faster, easier-to-build assembly.

I don't think you are supposed to leave the fuel in the gun, but I do and it lasts for atleast a few months.
I leave the fuel cell in all the time. The battery - that little blinking light. That'll kill the gun in two days sitting in the case. I sometimes have trouble remembering to pull that out before I put the gun away.

I've got four paslodes and they are fine as long as the fuel cell hasn't expired. you'll know when it starts misfiring or just plain not firing. take the battery out and the cell will last half a year without a problem. I had one sit for almost a year in the same gun and it worked right up to the expiration date and not a day longer!

Nothing is impossible...It just hasn't been done yet.
Thanks for the info.
I've been pulling the battery out when done, but the distruction book doesn't say anything about the fuel cell.
Anyways, finish the coffee, have some brunch, then go install a couple vanaties.
Easy day today.
Thanks again, Darren.
I never take the fuel cell out, always take the battery out though.
Have 4 guns and I dont think I have ever had a problem with the fuel cells leaking.

we have the pasload "framers" and both of trim guns and the stapler. we have never had a problem with the fuel cells bleeding down but the only problem we had was a gun catching on fire in one of my guys hand. i guess someone cracked the valve on the fuel cell and the spring got stuck in the open position. that gun was like a flame thrower. once these guns have been dropped enough to justify buying new ones i will buy air guns and a new compressor.
The fuel cell on mine has been in the gun ever since I retired, 4 years ago, since which time I've hardly touched it.
I used it a couple of weeks ago with no trouble at all.
