Hi all. I bought a place with two patio doors, both of which have 2″ backsets and really old hardware. I guess the previous owners opted for 2″ to make as much room as possible for the glass in the door? Anyway all the replacement hardware I find online is very expensive. Any suggestions here or affordable places to shop for new hardware for a 2″ backset? Thanks.

I’d contact a locksmith (lock shop) as the only difference in backset is the “throw”.
They may have a compatible one on the shelf that would work with a “more common” handle set you like.
Thanks Calvin!
