I’m building some stairs off my patio. I’m dealing with an incline. I built a box step using 2x6s. I have two steps. At the bottom I’d like to have a couple rows of pavers. I’m not sure if I should remove more dirt to keep the 5 1-2 inch step or just back fill it to the first step? Or maybe there’s another option. Thanks

Engineered-stone shower panels are waterproof, but proper installation relies on tight seams and silicone sealing.

Here’s my free opinion, for what it’s worth.
You’re celebrating something…..
You’ve got a tray full of champagne glasses….."
You’re going down those few steps you’ve gone down a hundred times….
One of your endowed guests lifts their shirt…..
Ooops, that last step came up quick.
I’d keep the same rise and run, but not by going below grade with a paver or anything else. You don’t want that paver under water in a big rain.
I like your paver idea but not below grade and not a shorter rise.
Yeah that’s a concern. Guess I’ll just go with one step. That will get me down far enough I believe. Thanks
