Hello, this is my first intro, name is Dov. I’ve got over 20 years of experience in different types of housebuilding, light construction, electrical work, etc, as an independent, but not really a contractor. I have a 150 sq. foot area to lightly repave, asmall driveway, and they just want me to put on a light coat of concrete. just sand and concrete, so any suggestions on the mix, sand to concrete. no cars go on this, only a small electric golf cart for an elderly couple. thanks one and all.

I wouldn't under estimate the strength required for the golfcart; not as heavy as an auto but heavier than what you might think. Use reinforcement, control joints and don't forget a good base under your concrete; properly compacted and no organic material.
T2,
Weak concrete is worse than no concrete. Can't you talk them into compacted granite or limestone fines? This stuff gets hard, sheds water and won't crack. Heck, even some cheap HD pavers would be a better solution.
Putting down a layer of cement/sand mix is asking to have a real mess in a short time.
