Jeez, I can’t believe it was this hard to get back on breaktime! Almost like work…
Some time ago (years), someone on this site gave me the EXACT list of parts I’d need from Reid Tool to switch the T-handle knob on my PC routers to a lever. Now I want to get more of those and can’t find the list! Figures. Can that someone supply that again. This time I’ll save it in a file, promise…. AND EMAIL IT TO ME!! JUST IN CASE I CAN’T FIND MY WAY BACK HERE!

I couldnt find it in Shop Notes but Ill check my ref's for Reid tool company. you might want to check Mc Fadden Dale Hardware they have just about everything you can imagine there.. I think theyre a chain cuz theres a couple of them in Orange County, Santa Ana and Anahiem. I have been useing a cam lock thats made for bicycle seats and wheels for my 3 1/4 PC thats table mounted. But Ill check for Reid tool company in the morning. Darkworksite4: When the job is to small for everyone else, Its just about right for me"
Is it possible that the new setup on the 690LR be retrofited to an older 690? Just curious.
I'm not familiar with that new router. But getting the parts from Reid is easy...if you know which parts you need! I guess I could go through my old receipts, it's just that I don't even remember which year that was!

I have not tried it, but a bike seat quick release is suppose to work. Take it to bike shop and find one that fits.
Also Lea Valley is selling a quick release clamp for jig that is suppose to work. http://www.leevalley.com/hardware/page.asp?page=45034&SID=&ccurrency=2&category=3%2C43576
That looks just like the bicycle one. I also read in Shop Notes while iwas looking last night that a ratchet type handle (like they sell at Rocklers) would work. I got one thats 5/16-18 Ill go buy a bolt today and see if it works. I got a couple of raised panels to make so Ill let you know. Im also gonna check for the Reid tool company phone and address. In my ref's. Get back with ya later.

I've got the numbers for Reid. I'm digging through my reciepts. Oh well...thanks for trying.

About a year or so ago I stripped the knob again and got tired of messing with it, so I went to a bicycle shop and bought a mid-level seat clamp. Cost about $6 I think. I had to file a small flat on one side so it would lie against the router base, but otherwise it was a 5-minute fix.

I like the pictures of your new kitchen garbage disposal.
But where is the outlet?
Bill,
Its solar activated. Its brand new on the market. Just go to your local Home Dildo or Blowes amd walk up the salesman on the floor and ask him about it. He'll help you find one maybe special order it if they dont have it in stock since its a new design and all...:) Darkworksite4: When the job is to small for everyone else, Its just about right for me"
