Hello, this is Bill from Wisconsin, I am intrested in knowing any and all info on Pella bay windows. I know that I can get it from Pella, but I thought this might be faster for my customer. Any info would be appreciated, Thanks ( warranty info is what I am after)

Thanks for the info. Does other parts include the seal around the main window
for the Pella warranty?
The seal between the 2 panes of glass has a twenty year warranty.

I put pella in my house, and there are quite a few of them. Even had the house in an ad. I've had problems with the windows shutting completely, allowing the latch to completely lock into place. The original latch had a button that locked when the windows latches were rotated. Those started to fail very soon after I installed the windows and I kept going back to get them replaced. Finally they quit making that type and started giving me the regular type.
Over time some of the windows, as I mentioned, started to resist closing when I e-mailed Pella tech support for advice all I got back was a generic e-mail that started "dear vintage window owner" - " followed by no relevant response. The darn things were 15 years old at the time. Not the type of response I would expect.
The distributor of the windows dropped Pella and didn't really have comments.
My case may be unusual, However, I would make sure that even with a good warranty, I had a person/firm to go to when there is a problem and not just calling Home Depot or Lowe's.
thanks again for all the info. The problem I have is that the seal around the main window of the bay I believe is leaking on the bottom, causing water to stain the bench seat and back rest. Also the seal around the casement windows on the side is leaking, causing condensation on the outside of the window. I think that warm air is leaking to the outside meeting the cold air and causing condensation. My parents are the ones that have the problem . They had a very well known contractor install them, so I dont think that is the problem. They wanted to see if there was anything that I could do for them.
They should be contacting Pella directly or through the contractor who installed them.
