I plan to re side my home this fall with cedar shingles ( @16sq./perfection/ 6″ exp.) I’m not a pro but feel I’m way above the average “Homer”. Is it reasonable to think i could get 2 sq. done per 8-10hr. day? (the higher work obviously taking longer). My wife wants me to hire it out, but i would really like to tackle it myself, it looks enjoyable but time could be a problem as well as weather. I was told it would run me @$200 per sq. for perfection shingles and another $200 per sq. for installation and $100 per sq. for rippoff of old large cedar shingles (this includes dumpster and cleanup). Any opinions on my expectations per day or on these price quotes?
