Live in Ohio and thinking about installing a perforated radiant barrier in the attic. Concern would be not enough moisture escape or freezing of perforations in winter creating moisture buildup. Also don’t know total effectiveness of radiant barriers against cold weather and trapping warm air in.
Anyone have any experience or knowledge with this type insulation?

This has been a BT topic a number of times. IMO radiant barriers aren't worth the time or money. They tend to be oversold as miracle products and generally they are not. There are much better energy saving measures you can incorporate in your house to save a lot more for a lot less.
The concept of radiant barriers work ... but generally only under theoretical or laboratory conditions. As soon as they get installed, they start accumulating dust/dirt and their effectiveness goes in the toilet.
Take a look at all problems in your house and choose some that are really worth putting some effort into them. And don't go out and buy one of them Amish heaters!
