Performax or Delta or ??

I’m thinking about a thickness sander. Was not
greatly impressed at what $800 will buy from
Delta or Performax. Any other reasonable
alternatives? I’d like to stay in the under $1000
price range. Very unlikely I’d need anything wider
than maybe 30 inches. Pretty much everything would
be more like 24 inches and under.

    I really like the Woodmaster drum sanders-very well built and easily maintained. Hope this helps.
