oh yeah, over a foot and still coming down. They're talking another half foot or so.
If we hadn't had the one day of sun and melt after the ice storm we'd be hurtin' campers right about now.
Took a walk thru the woods and was finding tall poplars around 10-12"dia that had broke thru at the base but still sitting upright leaning against the others in the grove.
Out of town tree and electric folks still hanging around.
Peach full,easy feelin'.
We were on the edge of the storm here-maybe 6/8in. Nice and lite. Started while we were in the theatre-opera. Kind of fun, but most of the stars died.A Great Place for Information, Comraderie, and a Sucker Punch.

When I happen to see a thread worthy of the Index I first add it here as just a quick post at the end of the thread so I don't lose it.
Sometimes just come back and keep editing the one post as a sort of mini-collection because it's easier to add them when they are already sort of grouped within their classification.
Then when a large enough of a collection is gathered I would go in and add them to their classification.
Seemed Stan's story here would be worth adding to the stair folder as there are a large number of threads dedicated to stairways which have been made by Stan over the years.
I had previously made a separate section of Stan's threads of which this story would be an added feature alongside the photos.
I haven't added too many threads over the last few months or so but did notice there were quite a few that belonged there.
There really needs to be an active team that can cover the forum more accurately and not load up one or two people with the whole thing.
I had hoped it might catch on and more people would get involved.
The basic concept and general outline is there but I was thinking on expanding the site a bit by including specific notable threads with pertinent or popular info
and perhaps reference threads with math formulas and that sort of thing also.
