Wow, Greg that is some beautiful work. No wonder we haven't heard from you lately. You have been very busy. Great looking cabinets and installation.

      BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this one you posted the drawings for a while back? Excellence is its own reward!

      1. gbwood | Sep 30, 2002 10:19pm | #11

thanks Piffin, no, I didn't post these drawings, this is actually the first attachment I've made since webx. this client is an interior decorator, she had perspective drawings for me at our first meeting! Talk about sweet & easy!

    Nice work.

I especially like the screwgun center piece in the overhead cabinet (first and last pic).  The lighting really accentuate's the curves and form of that tool.  I'm sure the new owners will be very proud.

        Jet,

Congratulations.  You are the first person I've ever known to have a tool fetish...Jon Blakemore

        1. jet | Sep 28, 2002 12:20am | #8

DW says every guy she has met has a tool fetish.

I do believe it was Boss Hog who said he makes noises when shopping for tools. I think it's in the "old shows" thread.

          Here it is.

"How about the time they tried to find "Animal" a hobby. Bowling overhand and aliggator wrestiling."

          Great telivision, IMHO.

If you can imagine Animal getting all worked up about something - Panting and repeating the same phrase over and over excitedly............

That's how I look when I go power tool shopping.

Sorry Boss, But I didn't want to be alone in this one.   ;-0

Very nice.....insets add just that extra bit of fun!

Did ya use the dime trick for setting the doors?

    1. gbwood | Sep 30, 2002 10:23pm | #13

Jeff- thanks man- no dimes on this one- ordered the doors a bit big with no edge detail & fit them to the openings to get the reveals perfect, then ran the edge details.

    Greg,

Good to see you posting some of the very nice work you do. What type of finish will the cabinets get?

1010103 - I see why it took you so long - a pillow by the wine cooler - :-)

Beautiful finish work Greg, a job to be very proud of.

Next time show us the mountian of sawdust back at the shop created for a job like this.

I'll bet you're glad to be finished and on to the next one.

          Thanks for the great photos.

Thanks Bob-  I played the major waiting game on painters & plumbers to wrap this one...

        2. Piffin | Nov 02, 2002 07:49pm | #18

Is it alright if I use the word, "Breathe-taking"?

I literally sucked wind as the first imabe loaded in front of me.

beaded on doors, full flush inset, stopped flutes, nice finish, Love that ogee style on the granite top.

Primo work! Hope the clients appreciate you..
